Training for Banks
Banks following International Standards should meet defined criteria to adhere to industry norms and capital adequacy requirements. This requires a highly trained and empowered staff able to operate in line with the bank strategy and based on the work function of every team. Emadin’s Banking & Finance Training Packages are segmented into three Categories:
For more information about what each of these packages entail, please go to our Training for Banks page.
CPD for Company Secretaries
It is now a requirement that members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators undertake 20 hours of Continuing Professional Development each year, including at least 5 hours of formal development. Emadin is pleased to advise that its open and in-house courses are admissible for both the formal and the informal CPD requirements.
IFRS, IAS, ICFR, COSO
We are pleased to advise that Emadin is now able to provide in-house courses on all aspects of accounting and internal control. The requirements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in your particular region can be covered, either at a basic or advanced level.
Similarly courses can be delivered on Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including its implementation according to Committee of Sponsoring Organisations of the Treadway Commission (COSO) guidelines. These courses can also be expanded to include Control Self Assessment (CSA) if required.
Oil & gas joint ventures
Emadin has recently delivered a series of courses in the Middle East on the management and accounting of joint ventures in the oil and gas industry. The participants were all senior finance managers from a major oil producer, which is a partner in several refining and petrochemical JVs.
Companies wishing to discuss holding similar courses for their senior managers should contact Emadin
